Behavior[ | ]

Hollow Knight Overlords are one of the many Hollow Knight varieties. As with all Hollow Knights, it only appears at night and in this case only on crystal type islands.

Combat and Tactics[ | ]

This enemy has only one attack pattern. Upon sight, it will walk towards the player. Once it gets close enough, it will launch a magical ball of slow moving light energy. The ball of energy will home in on the player but cannot effectively turn fast enough to match the agility of the player. It bends towards you but it can be avoided by constantly moving. The ball of energy also has a charge effect. The more damage the Hollow Knight Overlord suffers the bigger, stronger and slower the ball becomes. However, if the ball explodes near a Hollow Knight Overlord, the Hollow Knight Overlord will be healed.

The Hollow Knight Overlord is also an add during the King of Light Hard Mode boss fight.
