Behavior
Mummies are one of the creatures that spawns in the Tomb of C'Thiris, Morteheim Guildhall, Temples and some special Events. It will attack on sight and can do so in two ways: ranged vomit or attack with claws. They have a relatively short range, but high damage.
Strategy
If You're a Ranger or Mage, just build a 2 Block high tower and attack them with your Bow or Wand and they won't be able to reach you. If you're a Warrior you can just attack and evade every 5 seconds.
