Description
This is one of the 1 hour events, more specific: a Chest event. You need to find a Turtle Hut and open the chest that is inside.
This event can't be manually activated, but you can speed up the waiting process by completing the other 1 hour long events.
Tips
As long as the event is still live, leaving the Island makes any killed Turtles spawn again, you can do that by going to the main menu or going to another Island.
The hut is easy to spot due to its large Green Crystal Block roof and 2 Crest of the Turtles, don't forget to take some before you leave.
It is guarded by Lime Crustors and Moss Shells, draw them out one by one and you'll be fine.
In case you don't want to face any of the creatures you can rush to the chest, loot it and reenter the island. All the structures will still be in place but not the foes.

- This is the only event that doesn't add Dirt to the landscape to make it fit, in stead it uses Polished wood blocks to fill up any holes.
